This year marks the 170th Christmas at St Edward the Confessor Catholic Church – everyone is warmly welcome throughout Advent and Christmas

Advent is a precious time of preparation for the birth of Jesus at Christmas. We hope that the wide range of events and opportunities, including wreath making, a wonderful concert, the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and a special focus on Saints who walked with the poor, all help us towards the radiance, grace and hope of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The Christmas Mass times are on the PDF and further down this page.
For the full range of Advent events and opportunities, including many ideas for charitable giving, and walking Advent with the Saints, download the PDF here:
Advent and Christmas Music – a wonderful concert by our award winning choir. Sunday 7th December, 3pm.
Everyone is very welcome to this concert where traditional and contemporary hymns and songs tell the Christmas story. Our Filipino choir has won London-wide awards and once sang for the Filipino Ambassador to the UK! After a glorious hour of music we will head to the Parish Centre for refreshments. Ideal for families, or for those who are alone or who find it difficult to come out in the evening.
